Pyroelectric detector MPY-01

The MPY-01 is a compact and highly sensitive detector for the measurement of various radiation sources. The optical bandwidth of the detector element is extremely wide, so that it can be used as a terahertz detector and infrared detector but also in the visible and UV range. The specific applicability is only limited by the choice of the optical window. Different windows with different transmission bandwidths are available.

The decay time of the electronic signal of the detector is adapted to measurements with the lock-in amplifier and is also suitable for data acquisition cards and oscilloscopes.

The detector has a stabilized power supply by means of a single MN23 battery (1x included and separately sold as accessory). The battery voltage can be monitored via an integrated voltage tester.
The compact design allows space-saving installation in the optical setup - all operating controls are easily accessible from above.
